An approved PIA is loaded in this session. Questionnaire and Generate PIA are locked so the approved text stays read-only. To work on a different draft, pick a draft row in the document list (left) if you have one. To create another PIA for this same system, use Start another PIA draft below (confirms first — your approved record is not deleted).

Questionnaire is unlocked for a new draft only. Complete all fields and Generate PIA — the server keeps your approved PIA; this browser will load the new draft when generation finishes. Lock questionnaire again

Required for Generate PIA only — answers shape the draft document text, not the header Score. To raise the score, complete the registry (left, Edit) and check Posture & evidence for gaps. Fields are capped at 500 or 200 characters to match the workspace API.

Preview renders Markdown for reading. Edit markdown opens the source. Save writes the draft to the API. Drafts autosave a few seconds after you stop typing (edit mode only). Cancel edits drops unsaved typing and returns to the last saved text (only enabled when you have unsaved changes).
